Tuesday, Apr. 26th 2011 CPR and First Aid Certification; is must for every science student, so that it may enhance you in saving a valuable life. This course is inevitable and now it has become important even among the non-professionals. I have undergone training in for 90 days Free CPR Training.
CPR Training Equipment; the equipment which the educational institution provided was very useful and are available in affordable prices. Doctor who trained us explained how to perform compressions and artificial ventilations. We practiced compressions on a model which is made of plastic. 10 face shield lung bags per manikin i.e. anatomical model of human body and a nylon carrying case were provided.
Training was very interesting, the instructor conducted theoretical classes i.e. how to perform CPR Certification. The guidelines included CPR Steps; which were carried out by us on patients who are seriously suffering with cardiac shock, dust and water and food particle inhalation.
First 60 days we practiced on manikin; last 30 days were under internship in a private hospital. The hospital wards, services, and emergency team members were very reliable and trustworthy. Our batch was 20 students who were allotted in emergency department. We sorted out many cases in the emergency room; here are some of the cases which we dealt with are; a 40 year old male patient was seriously suffering with cardiac shock and was craving for artificial ventilation. He was unconscious for about 2 minutes; we were called to provide him artificial ventilation and compressions.
I checked his pulse, it was not normal but slow. He was laid on the bed; using a big mask like apparatus; I provided artificial respiration for about 60 seconds and 60 compressions at one stretch. He was normalized after 2 minutes of providing this CPR Classes steps.
Second case was, 55 years old female met with an accident as she lost control on it, and was admitted under emergency case. It was a shock in which she lost her conscious and was under poor breathing. Heartbeats went slow; I made several compressions i.e. about 45. I gave her mouth-to-mouth artificial ventilations, and she was normalized after 2 minutes. it was a great experience when I saved them from danger.
